Now construction on site has started, Devon Wildlife Trust, operators of the new Seaton Jurassic visitor attraction are looking to recruit a manager for the centre.

Are you an inspirational leader, capable of taking forward our vision for Seaton Jurassic, a thrilling new visitor centre on the beautiful East Devon coast? This new post is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional individual to shape one of the most exciting projects on the Jurassic Coast, the UK’s only natural World Heritage Site.
Seaton Jurassic aims to engage over 50,000 people every year with the unique marine, coastal and geological heritage of the East Devon coast. It will include a café, shop and a highly innovative interpretation centre.
The Centre is owned by East Devon District Council and will be operated by the Devon Wildlife Trust. It will open in summer 2015. Principal funders include East Devon District Council, Devon County Council, the Heritage Lottery Fund and Coastal Communities Fund.
Your challenge will be to make Seaton Jurassic a highly successful and popular centre, supported by the local community, meeting the objectives of funders and true to the values of the project partners.
You will be a dynamic, motivated, people person who shares the values of Devon Wildlife Trust and who has significant, successful commercial experience in a similar sector. You will have experience of managing staff and volunteers and a track record or building good relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
The post will be based at DWT’s office in Exeter initially and then move to Seaton Jurassic in Spring/Summer 2015.
