App no 12/1464/VAR – Old Forge Cottage, Combpyne, Axminster – Variation of condition 2 on application 00/P0770 to allow ancillary accommodation or holiday let
The Parish Council feel that this original condition should stand and be enforced. The main reason for this is the inadequate parking – this has already been experienced as a major issue and is felt to be dangerous (although the property is advertised with offroad parking).
App no 12/1573/FUL – Higher Manor Farm, Combpyne, Axminster – Construction of yurt for holiday letting
The Parish Council’s concerns here are that there are already two letting units on this site, one of which is not featured on the plans. Pedestrian access to the site is unsatisfactory and potentially dangerous – via a narrow farm lane used mainly by farm traffic, tractors, machinery, etc. and vehicular parking should be offroad and within the farm boundary, which does not happen in practice with the existing accommodation. It is felt that permission should be refused for this application.
App no 12/1642/TCA – The Farmhouse, Rousdon, Lyme Regis – T1, Ash Fell
There were no objections to this – hopefully something suitable will be planted in its place.
